Publisher's Summary

The scum hiding deep inside the Reach out along galaxy's edge thought they could kill her and not pay the price. For years these hardened killers have run roughshod over the lawless worlds where Republic justice is never as fast as the blaster in your hand and where double-crosses and death are a part of every deal. They thought this time would be no different.

They were wrong.

This time, the Guild sent the legendary bounty hunter Tyrus Rechs.

As the infamous Rechs pursues the men who murdered his colleague, he's hell-bent on justice, heedless of the trail of destruction he leaves across ruined worlds and fantastic gambling meccas alike. Because for Rechs, this isn't just another Guild contract...it's personal.

i enjoyed it, well executed space opera

this narrator is Ray Porter from the bobiverse books which I also enjoyed and he does a fine job of delivering this interesting Saga which reminded me of the Star Wars world

Lives up to the series

Great story by the authors and performance by Ray Porter.

It's what I have come to expect from this team, and I was not left wanting. Looking forward to listening to Chasing the Dragon.

something unique

where do i start this is a side story in the GE universe even though its not ready by RC Bray ray porter still does a fantastic job and even though it is strange with him as Tyrus Rechs he soon pulls you in and brings a fair bit of depth to the character. The story is something else as well in fact all 3 books so far keep you hooked the whole time but this one in particular is the best for me. a revenge story at heart with a detective style hunt where he has to uncover secrets bit by bit to unlock the truth, is something i think everyone can relate to in one way or another. This book is a must if you liked the original series and hell i would say even if you didn't. if I wasn't an audible member I would without a doubt pay full price for all of these books!

Lots of everything

Not a bad book, but spoilt by an excess of violence and things happening. Some good ideas and characters, but everything was at a breaknieck pace. A bit of time spent developing characters and slowing down the ploy would help. Still, well worth a listen

A kid's story for grown ups

Can't be shot. Never misses. Gets all the bad guys. Silly story really. The authors can obviously write, but it's just escapism stuff. Narrator does well with the tissue thin plot. Kept me in it when a lesser reader would have had me deleting it.
