Publisher's Summary
It all started with a dare.
A single dare on Maisey Parker's 21st birthday and her entire life changed.
One second she was getting drunk with her friends, and the next she was climbing a cliff, cutting her hand, and accidentally offering a blood sacrifice that opened a thousand year old prison. A prison that contained the only living Titan. One too powerful to kill. One that wants nothing to do with being attached to Maisey.
Cronus has an old score to settle with the Greek Pantheon. Lucky she has some sick days saved up at work, because Maisey is dragged along whether she likes it or not. A decision Cronus no doubt regretted right around the time she makes a colossal mistake, unleashing an untold evil on the world.
Now they're in a race against the clock to resurrect the other Titans, the only beings who can contain the evil. They're the world's last hope. And Maisey's.

Exceptional start to a series
‘Releasing the Gods’ is book one in the Co-Authored series Titan Saga by Jaymin Eve & Leia Stone.
Maisey thought that the most important thing in her life was her social media life, getting 50k follows on her Instagram account and hoping to get sponsors. When she is double dared to climb up the “haunted cliff” on her twenty-first birthday she never thought that she would accidentally unlock a thousand year old prison and get a life bond to a Titan. Being bonded to a Titan with revenge on his mind means that she is pulled across the world making deal after deal with other Titans/Gods. But when Pandora’s box is opened and Nine Deadly Sins are released, she must work with the arrogant Titan to recapture the Sins before Earth is destroyed.
Firstly I just have to say how much I love these ladies. Their work as individual authors are just phenomenal but when you put them together it’s like all my Christmas’ and birthday’s have come at once. I’ve read everything by these ladies as individuals and co-authored and I can’t get enough of them.
So now on to the book review...
What an absolute exhilarating start to a series, if this is any indication on how awesome this series is going to be then we are in for one heart pulling, high stakes, emotional overload of an experience. And I CANT wait!
I love a good Mythology twist and this was off the charts. There are so many different renditions out there on the Titans/Gods. But so far I have not found one where the Titans are the misunderstood/victims. There have been plenty with Zeus being the arrogant, evil, nasty being. I loved how Maisey would make references to what is in the history books about the Titans and seeing Cronus’ reaction, telling her that Zeus rewrote the tales.
Maisey is a little scatterbrained but her character growth was enjoyable to see. Even though she never really embraced the whole Titans and Gods existed in the beginning she was happy to just go with it. But when it mattered she was on board fully.
The constant humour between Maisey and Cronus is a great distraction from the seriousness of the situation that they are in. So many times throughout the book I found myself lol and getting weird looks from the kids. When I tried to explain what was going on to them they would respond by saying there was something wrong with me. They just don’t understand 😂.
I can’t wait to see what happens next in book two, especially after that ending. I can’t believe what went down. There better be a really good explanation and reason behind it.

Would be better without hashtags
While I usually love both authors work, I found the heroine annoying and vain. The constant use of hashtag whatever innane thought she had, was close to having me pull out my hair. Vanessa Moyan was great and did the best she could with the content.

***Oh My Cronus***
Vanessa Moyen is a brilliant narrator thank you. Releasing the gods is witty, none stop gods actions and not to forget our heroine #addictedtoinstagram lol I've enjoyed this book so much and can't wait for book two, five star all the way. It's extremely entertaining, I couldn't stop laughing.

hashtag
#soannoying
#maincharactersucks
I normally love these authors books, but the main character and those damn hashtags were so annoying, it took away from what could have been a really awesome story.

Could Have Been Awesome....
OMG, enough with the hashtags!!!! Completely ruined the story for me. Made it so monotonous.
Normally, I love these authors, but in this case, the story is ruined. The story otherwise was good but I just couldn't stand listening another moment to the ridiculous number of hashtags.
