Emotional Rollercoaster

Another amazing book from Aly. This story takes us from when Nora and Cam meet as children, as their friendship develops and through into adulthood as is it deepens into something stronger. I lost count of the number of times this book made me cry. Aly is a fantastic author who really draws you in to the characters lives. As with many of her books there are hard topics which are covered this one rape of a minor and child neglect. However, it is also a love story which has a satisfying ending. I think Aly gets the perfect balance of romance, sexiness and drama in her books. There are also characters from Guardian Protection who make an appearance. I really hope there is a book for Aidan Johnson at some point as we have heard about him in several of Aly’s other books. The narrators are excellent, Jason reads like a dream. I think this is my last Audio book of Aly’s which I have left to listen to, which is sad 😩. I think I’ll have to start over and listen to my collection again, they’re all so good 😁. Thanks Aly. 💕

Heartbreakingly beautiful book

I absolutely adored the first book in this series ‘Release’ & honestly didn’t think I’d like this one as much but I was so wrong! I loved this one even more.

I love childhood sweetheart romance books and this one killed me! How long they held onto each other without actually being with each other was so heartbreakingly beautiful I wanted to cry!

It broke my heart that Nora couldn’t let herself be happy & that she felt so unworthy. But I literally finished reading the last chapters of this book grinning like a Cheshire Cat to the point my cheeks hurt.

This is definitely one book that will slide into my forever a favourite collection. I highly recommend this series. Absolutely beautiful!

Narrators performance was fantastic.

Good but not as much as the first

The writing style is beautiful from this author, a real pleasure to listen to. I just felt them getting together was a little dragged out and happened only in the last 20%. Camden is an amazing character.
