Enjoyable listen

Overall loved it, there are a couple times it over repeats itself but the ideas of the shop system and limitations was really cool

Great story telling

Tad too much over explaining going on, but a solid story and world building. My pet peeve is with the narrator... "Ki" is pronounced wrong. I wince every time I hear it. This is a Wuxia/cultivation story, do try to do your homework!

great story

not a fan of the constant back and forth style of stoytelling. also, at times, fight scenes loose their suspense due to the midfighting overexploitation and reiteration of skills and power levels.

Overall the narrator did a great job and I enjoyed the story and world

Fantastic continuation

Count not stop listening. If you want bang for your buck this is the series. Narrator is perfect. MC rides the line between being overpowered by facing increasingly powerful opponents out of necessity.

the story

the story plot was very detailed and kept repeating some stuff so you wouldn't forget also just the idea of reincarnation with his old memories still there was really interesting.

Written to sound cool, not much else

The first book was better but still suffered from this problem a little, however in this book seems to rely heavily on the deus ex machina trope, where something unexpected happens that resolves a problem in the story. This includes stuff like weaknesses, powers, utility of powers and random bits of knowledge that seemingly appear right as they are needed, all of which occour in this book. Additionally it seems like whenever the perspective of another character is used to show one of the main characters, particularly from a female character, they simply fawn over them, saying how great they are.

While the orator is pretty good sometimes, it seems as though he feels the need to over enunciatethe rest of the time, particularly during fight scenes. Finally, the use of some sounds such as swallowing water is downright horrifying, though I imagime some people will have better or worse reactions to this.
There is a fair bit more to complain about but these are my main gripes, if you want a mostly mindless book with action that is made to sound cool you might like it but otherwise I would not recomend.
