About this listen
Nothing can end before it begins.
My beginning started with the death of my best friend.
And the kid he left behind...I had no idea what to do.
But I made a promise. Jenkins was my responsibility.
But he wasn't the only one I had. Raising a kid while being the president of the Ruthless Kings MC?
The club had as much influence over him as I did. But somehow, we made him a man his father would be proud of.
Then his sister showed up...covered in bruises. Fighting for her life.
Her attacker is going to learn a lesson he will never forget. Nothing is more dangerous than a woman with the Ruthless Kings by her side.

it's been recommended that I read this first
apparently reapers rise feels in all the blanks and answers the questions that the listener is asking. I enjoyed the slight humour that goes with an MC club and their president trying to raise a 10 year old boy.
this novella was well written and is my first introduction to the author. it does not seem to be as light as other MC novels but not as dark as some that I have red for example Tillie Cole her novels are gutwrencihingly scary and dark.
it's a first listen to these narrators and so far I am enjoying their tone and their infections so I am keen to get on with reading the rest of the boys in the club.
I know the second one is dealing with age gaps and when I read the dust cover I was not really interested but I do love a good series and Ms Savage has received a lot of positive reviews.
I don't normally like the age gap type of novel but seeing as I see a good lengthy drama story here I'm going to push on
