Editorial reviews

Authored by Laurann Dohner, Ral’s Woman: Zorn Warriors, Book 1 blends science fiction and erotica. Human Ariel only believes in extraterrestrial life after she is kidnapped and taken hostage to another universe. Her captors are the Anzon, aliens who take hostages, enslave other aliens, and stage prize fights. Unimpressed by their human captive, the Anzon make Ariel a fight prize. Another hostage of the Anzon is Ral, an alien who is a Zorn warrior. Although desperate for freedom for himself and his people, Ral desires Ariel and succeeds in winning her. Their deep sensuous connection begins the series of intergalactic encounters recounted in the Zorn Warrior series. Simone Lewis tantalizingly narrates this and future encounters between human females and the virile Zorn warriors.

Hard work

I enjoy reading stories written by Laurann Dohner however this book is not up to the standard that I have come to know. I was quite disappointed however, I kept reading hoping it would improve. It didn't. I don't know whether it was the narrator however, I found the females absolutely revolting as characters and there was really no connection to assist with interest in the story - which there was very little of. The limited story line was very uninteresting. There was no repoire between characters to add interest.

Entertaining enough but it’s no New Species or VGL

I loved the New Species and VGL books but this seems very simple and written more for the sex. To claim the characters love each other after two nights is just ridiculous. Also the male “chuckles” way too much.

Terrible

To go from interplanetary rape victim to undying love in 1 chapter is ridiculous. Male character is narrated like he's a caveman. I stopped listening after 3 chapters. It's basically the book version of a 70' porno. Sex with zero storyline.
