About this listen
The epic showdown between the last Isador queen and House Skye begins.
Strengthened by her new queen sib, Shara Isador plans to return to her mansion-in-progress for some much needed rest. She especially wants to get to know her new twin Blood and fears she may have made a mistake in taking them. She does not love them. Yet.
However, the sun god and the queen of New York City have other plans.
The snares are set to capture the young but extremely powerful vampire queen. Someone inside Zaniyah's nest has betrayed them, and Shara's trusted butler calls to inform her that a large package has arrived - from Marne Ceresa, the queen of Rome. A trap, surely. Or could the unknown gift be an olive branch from the feared Triune queen?
Contains mature themes.

All Shara wants to do is curl up in her new library & be read to by her blood, but some of the queens keep getting in the way. She has new twin blood to contend with, keep her new sib queen & her secrets safe, ready for the oncoming battle from Ra, but first she has to deal with house Skye. Like all the previous books contains lots of scenes with blood sex, but story moves along with some big moves, can't wait to see the fall out.

Life on pause. Can’t drag myself away
Book 1 was great, book 2 brought a few moments of squeam and squirm coz this is my first vampire read, book 3 kept the good times coming and now I’m on the addiction train and can’t stop. Happy thank you more please
(Gave 4 stars for performance coz I’m not the biggest fan of the male narrator’s work, have come across him in a few other books, simply because he makes a few slips with the accents and really doesn’t do a good female voice imho. But, it really doesn’t detract from the overall listening experience.)
