About this listen
How many Blood will come to the vampire queen's call...and will they be able to protect her from the king?
For the first time in her adult life, Shara has plenty of money thanks to the Isador legacy - and she's not alone. Daire and Rik are devoted lovers, but they know other Blood are coming. Blood who may challenge Rik for the coveted alpha spot at her back. As her power grows, so does her hunger. But without fangs, she fears she'll never be the queen her Blood expect. More Blood means power struggles and complications, and she has no idea how to keep everyone happy. Worse, her dreams are quickly becoming something to fear.
Moving to establish her permanent nest, she can't stop dreaming of the king. A massive monster. Chained in darkness. Lost to madness. He roars with fury in her dreams, demanding his release. But is he the key to unraveling her own mysterious past - or the most dangerous threat of all?
Contains mature themes.

Very satisfying
I was worried that the more people were added to her circle the more ridiculous this story would get(something I find in most harem stories) but really it's not. This is still as hot and wonderful as it was when there was only 3 of them.

'Bloody' good follow up
Shara starts coming into more of her powers & draws more blood to her nest. With the expansion of Shara's nest going from 2 to 5 there is very little story between all the sex & blood drinking. There are a few scenes to help move the story along, but mostly consists of Shara bedding her blood. Despite this I really loved the 2nd in this series & cannot wait to get my hands on the next instalment.
If you're easily offended by graphic sex scenes & MM scenes then skip this series.
This is how vampire erotica should be written.

Couldn't finish
Unfortunately I couldn't finish this series, at least not on audio book. I completed the first book but it was a struggle. The second book was too much for me. The story line is not bad, but the narrators made it hard for me to get into it too much. Don't get me wrong, they're not awful, but I don't think they were right for this particular style of book. I'm tempted to try this book on Kindle as I think it's got potential and I've heard so many good things about it. The book itself is fast burn and a bit insta love, which sometimes can work. I did find the mind reading between the FMC and her men to be a bit repetitive on the 'anger about her past' theme. Hopefully the Kindle version will be more enjoyable!
