Publisher's Summary
You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.
The phrase on the side of Embry’s shot glass sounds like a sign from the universe. And when her friend, Hadley, forwards her a video of the latest internet craze - The Shoot Your Shot Challenge - she can no longer ignore the cosmic push. If the women on the FlipFlop app can grab life by the lady balls and kiss their best friends, so can Embry. But what’s a girl to do when her shot gets Knox-blocked?
Knox Jacobs thought nothing would be more awkward than shooting down his best friend. Then, the Coronach-20 pandemic hits, trapping him thousands of miles from home - with the woman whose heart he just broke. But as the hustle and bustle of everyday life slips away, he finds himself wondering if maybe he’s the one who blew his shot.
Shelter-in-place is one thing. Sheltering at her place is not exactly what he had in mind.

Not for me.
I realise that this kind romance is for a bit of escapism and fun, so some suspension of belief, or opinion about appropriate behaviour, is required. But really, here we have a heroine who can't make even the smallest decision without running to her room to phone her 3 girl friends for advice. One of those friends dares her to video her attempt to hit on her male friend and stream it live. She doesn't really think it's a good idea because she might be rejected, but does it anyway and is shot down. And of course, filming someone, and putting the result up for public viewing, without their knowledge or consent is a great way to show someone you like and respect them - not. But this never comes up.
Then our 2 MCs end up together for two weeks quarantine, during which the friend consultations take place after almost every conversation they have. She is pushed and pulled by everyone, apparently completely incapable any independent thought whatever. The hero decides not to reject her anymore and after a few days they end up in the sack. A few days more and the hero finally realises he loves her after all, and has done for years. Then quarantine ends and they live happily ever after.
Weak pathetic herione, selfish, conceited hero, boring story. There were some secondary characters who had some depth, and the voice performance from these narrators was, as always, outstanding.
