About this listen
I was 14 when my dad married Lane’s mom and our families became one, when my favorite moments were those spent staying up all night, talking, or watching Lane create art.
There aren’t many things more inconvenient than loving your stepbrother. I know the limits, and that’s pushing them too far.
Over the years, I’ve pulled away from him. It was easier when he left for New York, but now he’s back, not only in Atlanta, but in my home, trying to get back what we lost.
How can I tell my own stepbrother that I want him in my bed? That I want to call him mine?
One kiss changes everything.
Our tight-knit family won’t understand. Our friends won’t either. But no matter how much I don’t want to disappoint them, now that we’re where we belong, I won’t walk away. Even if I have to lose everything to keep him.
Pushing the Limits is a stepbrother romance with a cocky main character who shows his vulnerability through the one man he’s not supposed to want, sexy painting, and a love that defies the odds.

Step brother trope always hooks me in
Pushing the Limits is book two in the A Secrets Kept series
I have a love hate relationship with Riley’s work, some I just don’t vibe with. But I can’t say no to a step brother trope.
This has to be one of my faves of hers in awhile. Doesn’t hurt that the audiobook was narrated by Tim Paige either. He’s a narrator fave and always enjoy listening to him being characters to life
The tension and angst is the perfect level. It’s not excessive but definitely keeps you interested.
Lane and Isaac have great chemistry I enjoyed the balance of their personalities.
I didn’t read the first book as it mentioned it being a standalone but I liked that we got a link to their couple Hutch and Ryder without it being forced.

Great read about two stepbrothers. Excellent narration by Tim Paige too
This was a beautiful love story about two brothers who were friends, soulmates and eventually partners.
This was really well narrated by Tim Paige too.
Recommended, and am marking this a favorite to return to.
