About this listen

If you are looking for a book to help you gain strategies on how to prepare for failure and how to push through challenging times, then this is the book for you!

Pushing Past Failure to Build a Better You is basically a step-by-step guide to help you navigate through becoming resilient to failure and not be afraid to try new things in order to achieve your full potential. This book is full of strategies that will help you through difficult times and propel you forward after failure.

  • Allowing time to process your feelings
  • Networking/asking for help
  • Practicing healthy habits
  • Taking uncomfortable action
  • Being more open-minded/changing your mindset
  • Maintaining consistency and tenacity

The main reason why I felt compelled to write a book on this topic is that I truly believe that if you fail early and often in your life, you can make yourself stronger and therefore find more success when presented with future endeavors that may be challenging to you. There is a proverb in the Bible that states:

“Point your kids in the right direction--when they are old, they will not be lost.” (Proverb 22:6)

I feel it is so important to educate the younger generation on how to use challenges as stepping-stones. These young individuals need to understand failure is part of the learning process, not the end of it. They need to learn how to become friends with failure at a young age and not be afraid of it. If children are put in environments where they can experiment and be allowed to fail to learn a lesson, then they will be prepared for transformative success in college and beyond.
