Publisher's Summary
It was supposed to be fake!
I agreed to be Isaac Keller's fake girlfriend. I know, crazy, right?
He's the star of the hockey team and heir to a billion-dollar corporation.
I should have run, but we've already established my level of sanity…
Anyway, I agreed. The deal is done.
In exchange, I get eight dates, the boyfriend experience, and a popped cherry. Yay! Go, me!
I just never expected a guy like him would be the one to slip past all my defenses.
My poor goalie is on her knees, weeping.
My heart… well, it might as well be the puck he slap shots across the ice. It's taken a beating.

Engaging solid story. Elevated further by memorable excellent narration. Rexommended.
The narration is what most impressed me. Vincent Skye was exceptional. He had sensitive pacing that wove me into the story. He also had an almost intimate way of expressing both deep feelings and internal monologue. Ideal romance voice. I'll be watching out for him in future.
While I tend to notice male narrators more, I was also impressed by Charlotte Norths narration, which kept me interested in its variety. She also well expressed the heroine without taking on the little immature girl tone many female narrators express.
The story itself was a familiar trope but was involving and interesting. It was well written and a good solid story. While in an ice hockey sub-genre, there was very little In it. Similarly, while the heroine was a ballerina and ballet teacher, there was almost nothing really of her profession either. The focus was firmly in the developing romance
Highly recommended and I'm marking it as a favourite.
