Publisher's Summary
Sam "Mozart" Reed's life changed the day his little sister was found abused and murdered when he was 15. He's spent the past 19 years looking for the serial killer who took his sister from him and ruined his family. Using his connections, and SEAL training, Mozart believes he's finally tracked the killer to the town of Big Bear, California.
Summer Pack is working in a crappy motel up at Big Bear Lake until she can find something better, more meaningful, more real. Living in an unhealthy situation, she meets a man who is everything she's ever dreamed about and who helps her see that there are some people in the world who will actually do what they say they will.
But somewhere in Big Bear a killer is waiting to strike again. Watching for the perfect victim.

descriptions of people missing
Susan stoker is the only author i have read so far that doesn't rely on describing her hero or heroine. I had no idea how Fiona looked in book 3 and here I her blonde hair and a height. we know from previous books that Mozart is good looking but there is no refresher paragraph on his looks.
I like knowing as I put them in mind's eye. that why some narrator's don't work for me if the picture and the voice don't match.
we get a simplified hot scene in the fading minutes of the book so it was alm9stbas tame as book 1.
it was a good story and that somevgrear angst, wall I can say is thank the navy sealas for TEX.
getting mixed comments on book 5 but I'll give it a go

Blind hatred
Susan Stoker has done it yet again, this book, like the others, is following one of a group of Navy seals. Mozart is still after revenge, 15 years after his sisters brutal murder, Tex is helping him with leads. Summer is trying to stay afresh after divorcing her husband, losing her job and been abandoned by her 'friends', but life is not going as easily as it should. When their worlds collide and Summer does something that no one has ever done for Mozart in his life. When Summer is introduced to the other SEALs women, she starts to see things and assess them differently, but life never goes easy for these SEALs and their women, and disaster happens, and makes them reassess what's important
I thoroughly enjoyed listening to Stella Bloom narrate the rest of the series, and she was sensational as always

Protecting Summer
This book finds SEAL, Mozart on the hunt for the serial killer who killed his sister! While following one of Tex clues, he meets Summer after she comes to his defenders when 3 women make cruel comments about his scares!!! This romantic suspense book is a fantastic read! I own it both in book format and audiobook!!!
