About this listen

The definition of a proxy, as they concern us, is a webpage that allows users to access websites that are restricted by the user's network administrator. Proxies are commonly used for several reasons: security, load balancing, data caching in order to reduce bandwidth demands, and censorship or filtering. Filtering proxies insulate you from objectionable elements of webpages, such as cookies, ad banners, dynamic content like Javascript, Java Applets, and ActiveX controls.

Some anonymous proxies encrypt your Web communications, protecting you from routine monitoring or even dedicated surveillance. We are going to be creating proxies that filter websites, and provide the user with the capability to anonymously surfing the web. Don’t let this technical jargon confuse you, it's really very simple! Find out all here.
