Again David takes you on a Rough ride.

Was a good book but now I just can't follow the series anymore and not this Author. They start out great but Three books in the MC makes decisions that I can't agree with logically nor emotionally in the big decisions that the main MC makes. So I will just state it here David is a very skilled writer and will take you on a Roller Coaster ride of emotions. But just be prepared for the the Main Character to have their decisions made up for them or if they make a decision is bloody stupid like keeping a toxic ex around. Think I've listened to 6 of David Burkes books now and this will be the last. they start off alright but by book 3 they just drop in relatable likeable Main Characters with Chemistry, but that's just me. So this book is like book 2 be prepared for a flip on what you think might happen. I've left a 5 star because David has gotten me to this point and that's a thanks to him introducing me to the great worlds but I won't be buying anymore books from him as over the series it drops the ball in chemistry and feels rushed in parts but not flushed out enough in others. Plus I just start to hate the main Characters and want to learn more about the side Characters but it never happens. So thanks for all the Fish.

10/10 Great Read

David Burke is yhe first author I was introduced to with the heram fantasy novels and his writing just keeps getting better.

This book out of the lot so far has the perfect balance of action, lust and status.

I am truly keen on the next book.
