Rounded up to four stars as overall it is entertai

Rounded up to four stars as overall it is entertaining. Good narration. Entertaining to listen to this madness whilst doing other things. 1 - LUCIFER’S DAUGHTER This is a real Ms Langlais' special brand of humour. I am embarrassed to say I bought this book over a year ago and have had this book on my TBR list since then. I kept meaning to catch up on Muriel every time she made an appearance in WELCOME TO HELL, which I have owned, loved and reread many times. I cannot say why I kept missing it as I usually read Ms Langlais stuff straight away. What a wonderfully entertaining read with great humour, loveable characters, (I already loved Lucifer from the other series) and a great plotline. Muriel really is the most interestingly different character. Proud to be Satan’s daughter, a real daddy’s girl but loves to torment her father with being un-evil. A straight A student, still a virgin at 23 and waiting for love. What a disappointment to her father she is. But she is also quirky enough and very positive about herself to be entertaining. Loved Auric and wondered what his story was and why he was so reticent about himself. That was an eye opener. The relationship between these two was enjoyable. Cannot wait to read the next book. 2 - SNOWBALLS IN HELL Though not as entertaining as book one for me, I still enjoyed where this took us and love that David has joined the relationship. I did like the story line and how we get a minor conclusion but want to know who the big baddie is, THE ONE. Having read the WELCOME TO HELL series first I have a good idea of what is going to happen but cannot wait to read how Gaia plays into this series and what her story is. On to book three I go. 3 - HELL’S REVENGE 3.5 stars. Good but the new addition to this family ménage was not given enough time to introduce himself. Very entertaining and enjoyable and we get another Tieval a vampire, added to Muriel’s harem but I felt like he was not given enough time for us to get to know him. He was added in but never introduced. Hopefully we will get to know him more in the next book. I was sad at what happened to Muriel at Lilith’s hands. She missed out on so much due to the time frame circumstance. No spoilers here. Not quite sure what Gaia was playing at but I supposed she redeemed herself. 4 - VACATION HELL Obviously a lot of background has been put in for new readers. If you have read all the previous books this one will be long winded due to lots of repetition of previous occurrences. Though this overlaps with the welcome to hell series in storyline I found this one just didn’t hold my reading interest. I felt Tristan was basically forced into Muriel’s harem, not that he really wanted to be there. He has never really been given his own story to tell. A lot of rehashing of facts that those who have read the series already know so I felt my time was being wasted. Also the author has her own story wrong. Gaia did not save Muriel, Teivel did using his blood. Sad about Muriel not being able to have more children.
