All Round Good Fun!

Lots of imagination used to write these tales of Darcy and Elizabeth's eventual coming together. the narrator is entertaining and the story plots hand together well. Amusing to have on in my house... I found myself laughing out loud!

Great fun

These stories are highly imaginative and entertaining. If you want the same old formula though, you may be disappointed.

characters are not 'true'

The first 9+ chapters are of Elizabeth being sick in bed. The author has not been true with the characters. Elizabeth is very sick and her parents don't care. I find this at odds with what we know of her father. He was a very caring man who loved Elizabeth immensely, but he doesn't even call a doctor? They were not so poor as to not be able to afford a doctor so why paint it that way and make Elizabeths father seem cruel? Elizabeth's mother only cares about rumours of the sickness affecting Jane's wedding to Bingley. Bingley is written as though he 'hates' Jane's mum. This is at odds with the gentle and caring nature we know of Bingley. Darcy is the one to get a doctor for Elizabeth. It does not make sense.
The narrator is spectacular, and although I understand the author has a passion for P&P, I don't recommend you use a credit on these books.
