About this listen

Rule number one: Don't piss off the Sick Boys.

They're cruel. Reckless. Impossibly f--ked up.

The Sick Boys feed on the order they create. They rule Eastpoint University just as their families have for decades. But their power doesn't stop there. The three of them are heirs to some of the largest fortunes in the world, and behind that kind of wealth lies an underworld of corruption.

On the surface, they're perfect princes and he is their king. But underneath it all, they're filled with blood, lies, and secrets. With all of their connections, they have the power to crush anyone who gets in their way. But just because they're as warped as I am doesn't mean I'm going to give them a free pass.

Because I, Avalon Manning, bow to no one, and I live to break the f--king rules.

Contains mature themes.

TW Rape, light BDSM and drug use

The writing can get a little repetitive at times - it’s a lot of “you can’t tell me what to do” and “you’re mine”.

But it’s a gripping storyline that makes you feel like you’re in the main characters shoes. The voice actors are fantastic and I can’t wait to hear more

Great plot

Slow burn, didn’t exactly understand where this was leading to in the early chapters but turned out alright, keen to jump into book 2. TW with drugs, excessive swearing and rape,

Male narrator was great, female narrator’s voice was like like scratching on a chalk board.. you’ll understand it when you listen. Her voice did not at all represent a young female character.

So that was interesting and intense 🫣

I don’t even know where to go with this one… it’s like a mixed bag of lollies for grown ups with minimal spice and all the triggers… fun!

This is part 1 of I don’t know know how many but Lucy comes from the rough side of the tracks and is hand picked to go to a rich kid school only falls into the hands of the sik boys Dean, Able and Brax for some unknown reason which is what they’re all trying to figure out and I. AM. HERE. FOR. IT!

Elizabeth Russell voice annoys me beyond belief and when she mimics people it’s like nails on a chalkboard but ehhh JF Harding was decent enough for the two of them.

Rambles a bit

Great narrators. TW abuse and rape.
The story just drags on, control freak MC and strong willed FC and the whole time they are just arguing back and forth, “you can’t tell me what to do” “you don’t own me” and nothing really eventuated. I persisted listening as I wanted to see how it panned out but it was a bit of a let down in my eyes.
