Lots of great information

The author not only is extremely knowledgeable but is able to write the information in a way that it is structured and easy to understand. There are references to studies and research but the book doesn't get bogged down in it. The author isn't trying to prove anything and assumes you're reading it already with a belief in shamanism to some extent.

Narration is a little dry and robotic at times, but this isn't necessarily a bad thing when it comes to this kind of content. However, it would have been nice to have a bit more of an emotive narrator. Also there are a few times throughout where sentences or half sentences are repeated.

Overall, if you're interested in this topic, this is definitely a good audiobook.
