One half is excellent, the other half, well...
This is an 8-hour french learning, I would say that 25% is really good content and you'll learn basic french. It'll get you to practise both oral and listening skills which is excellent. The other 25%, is a good amount of revision and repetition but I think the rest (50%) is needless repetition and revision which might frustrate some listeners (like me). The author might have forgotten that you could actually play back previous tracks if you want to do revision on previous topics/phrases/words. I know that the aim is to do spaced repetition but I think this wasn't achieved effectively. The repetition is constant and too close to each other that it's more like a parrotting tool instead.
