Narrators voice of Merino absolutely fantastic
Narrator did an excellent job, I greatly enjoyed her voicing Merino.. highly entertaining, that was my favourite part of the whole story

Enjoyable read.
Good read. Not too serious, a bit gory at times, but in context. I like the Doc, will be downloading the next book.

Had me nervous at night in my own house
Loved everything about this novel Great story chillingly real set against a creepy disturbing landscape & atmosphere The reader was outstanding & gave an authenticity & warmth to the central character Kay Highly recommend

For a First Title, Really Engaging
Ms. Cornwall’s writing style is extremely enjoyable. It grips you early, the characters are engaging and while some of the character’s voices were a bit grating, the overall listening experience is a positive one. This is a great introduction to audiobooks of Ma. Cornwall’s Scarpetta Series. I’d highly recommend it.

Whilst the story line was slow at some points, readers are given all aspects of the characters thoughts and emotions and sometimes little hints to help the most avid listener solve the case as quick as Scarpetta
