About this listen
From New York Times bestselling author Christina Dodd comes a nail-biting new novel of emotional heart-stopping suspense.
LIFE LAST SEEN
When you’ve already died, there should be nothing left to fear... When Adam Ramsdell pulls Elle’s half-frozen body from the surf on a lonely California beach, she has no memory of how she ended up there, what her full name is and how she got those terrible bruises on her throat.
GIRL LAST SEEN
Elle finds refuge in Adam’s home on the edge of Gothic, a remote village located between the steep, lonely mountains and the raging Pacific Ocean. As flashes of her memory return, Elle faces a terrible truth — buried in her mind lurks a secret so dark it could get her killed.
POINT LAST SEEN
Everyone in Gothic seems to hide a dark past. Even Adam knows more than he will admit. Until Elle can unravel the truth, she can’t be sure who to trust, when to run and who else might be hurt when the killer stalking her nightmares arrives to finish what he started...

Interesting plot web
I was interested to see what Christina Dodd would do with this new series and was pleased with layers of the plot as well as the intriguing characters. I always love a little bit of the paranormal (coincidences, premonitions etc) and there was a nice blend of that. I smiled at the “bush telegraph” communication of the locals after living in a small town for a couple of years. Very, very hard to keep to yourself like Adam wanted to. I found some parts uncomfortable to listen to but it is testament to both author and narrator as it went with the character.
I listened to the audiobook and I liked that the narrator used more emphasis, tone and inflection to differentiate, instead of poor accents as sometimes other narrators do. I’m now off to find the next one!
