About this listen
Brax
Tyson Langley thinks the king in Franklin University Kings is in reference to him. Star lacrosse player and God’s gift to the female and male population, there’s nothing the spoiled jock can’t have.
It’s impossible for us to be in the same room without talking crap to each other. But I also have a secret…as much as I despise Ty, I want him too. I revel in our banter and in never knowing what he’ll say next.
I’ve spent too much time on the wrong side of the law for someone like Ty, though, and if I want to make it through college and escape my past, he’s a distraction I don’t need.
Ty
Braxton Walker needs to learn to lighten up. If you search brooding online, his name pops up. He’s the bad boy with a leather jacket and a scowl. We couldn’t be more different.
Finding ways to annoy him is like the longest foreplay session of my life. And when we end up working together, it gets harder to deny how hot he makes me.
What’s a little hooking up between enemies?
We weren’t supposed to become friends or share secrets. We weren’t supposed to understand each other and all the complicated stuff we’re going through.
I’m used to playing games, only the more time I spend with Brax, the less it feels like playing around and the more it becomes something real.

a good listen
Very funny and really cute. I laughed a lots, swooned a bit and loved how great there relationship was, even if a unique and with only a couple of bumps a long the way. The narrators also did a great job.

Such a sweet story
I wasn't sure in the beginning about this book, but it grew into such a sweet story that had me grinning like a lovestruck idiot. The snarky banter, clueless friends and growth of the two MC's throughout the book really rounded it out.

Low angst, sweet and sassy romance
Hart writes a sassy romance there is no doubt. Opposites attract and enemies to friends are the tropes which is done beautifully. The characters have depth and real chemistry. My first listen to JF Harding, it won’t be my last - he’s brilliant.

Lighthearted and low angst MM!
Playing Games book one in the Franklin U series. A MM college romance series collaboration between either authors. Each author writing their own book within the FU world.
While this is book one I didn't start with this book in the series and it didn't hinder my reading experience at all. These books have been written so that you can read them out of order.
I really enjoyed the banter between Brax and Tyson. The tension and snark was great. Still very much with that low angst vibe which makes for easy reading. It's light-hearted and cute at times will still bringing the sassy/snark. It's that classic bad boy and jock romance with a little more depth.
I listened to the audiobook and definitely recommend JF Harding as a narrator. He did a great job with both POV's.
