About this listen

From USA Today bestselling author Rebecca Jenshak comes a standalone fake dating sports romance. This steamy, grumpy / sunshine football romance delivers a swoony and emotional happily ever after.

Brogan Six’s fan mail has been filling my mailbox for weeks. With every lipstick covered letter I receive, my irritation with him grows. And let’s not talk about the time I accidentally opened one of the packages to find someone had sent him their panties. Gross. When I come face-to-face with my new nemesis, I expect to give him a piece of my mind and we’ll go our separate ways. Me to an empty mailbox and him to sift through his panty collection. That is not what happens.

I don’t know if it was the booze, his clever wit, or if I was tricked (I’m sure I was tricked), but now I’m fake dating the Mavericks’ hot new rookie. And I might just be the next woman to lose her panties to Brogan Six. Playbook is a standalone fake dating, grumpy/sunshine sports romance with banter, found family, spice, and a guaranteed happily ever after.

So beautiful

I’m obsessed. Brogan Six and London Bennet are perfect and I’m in love with them.

Also any MMC voiced by Jacob Morgan gets an instant 5⭐️

Uncomplicated platonic friendships

Love this family! And loved Alec’s friendship! Wish it got a bit deeper at times buts it’s low angst and I loved that

Nice, but the conflict seemed a little put on

Something about the conflict/barrier in the relationship seemed forced, and hard to believe. Over all, a fun story with great secondary characters. Narration was good 👍🏽

Narrated beautifully

Both narrators did a wonderful job with their characters. Story wasn’t too long and I appreciated no 3rd act breakup

My Favourite by Rebecca Jenshak

I loved Londons calm confidence and Brogen is such a loveable golden retriever reformed playboy. They complement each other so well.
Loved the relationships with sisters and Brogen and his chosen family. It had just enough drama but wasn’t too much that brought it all down.

The voice actors were perfection! I could listen to Juno, she has the perfect voice for London.

• Fake dating
• Sports Romance

Also love Archers ASL references.

terrible

the female character was so insecure and winy that it just ruined it.
she questions everything and makes something out of nothing so frequently. her self confidence was non existent and it drove me insane, i’m not a confident person at all but i wouldn’t tolerate half of the stuff she did. There’s being a people pleaser and then there’s just being somebody who allows people to walk all over them.
I also hated how judgemental she was, she was so stereotypical and judged him for so much instead of getting to know the person. I hate when people have no empathy and look at people with so much judgement. She also acted like being around football players was this huge thing and had to “ be at their level” to hang out with them, that bothers me so much it just got under my skin.
everything she said was just a repeat of what she was talking about the entire book and it got boring real quick. I also couldn’t stand some of the guys behaviour in the beginning, it wasn’t funny it was just gross.
don’t recommend
