Publisher's Summary

Noctem is a dream come true. Dreams don’t last forever. Nightmares might.

The first three books in the Pixel Dust series, full of fantasy adventure!

Existing within a virtual world shared across millions of users while they sleep, the online game, Carpe Noctem, offers a life of magic and adventure. For a scruffy gunslinger like Max, and a snarky fairy like Kira, it’s home.

Unfortunately, Noctem’s creator, and unhinged genius, has been fired. On his way out, he slapped a doomsday button to bring the system crashing down and send the global economy into ruin.

To save their second home, Max and Kira will need to assemble a party of misfits to conquer a quest of nightmares, and discover the secrets that lurk within the game.

If they fail, they’ll lose more than they can imagine… but winning has its own price.

Love the Story!

I really like these books and love being able to listen to all three at once.
Highly recommend.

What a ride!

I listened to the first book of the omnibus and took a break for a while because I wasn’t sure I wanted to face a potential disappointment from the subsequent books.
Now I feel silly for waiting that long.
All 3 books were amazingly written with so much depth to all the characters.

I feel I need to counter the other comments about the LGBTQIA content because I love the books so much and I want to encourage the author to keep going! It’s one thing to have a token character but it’s completely different the way that the journey of discovery is part of the readers own experience too.

The internal / external struggle is integral to knowing and understand the characters more deeply.

Also Seth/Kira’s duality is exactly what makes he/her such a complex character.

Highly recommend

Simply amazing

Stumbled upon this series and so glad I did. The story and character development is top notch. Ignore the negative reviews of people having a sook over the LGBT stuff. They're just close minded muppets. There's nothing sinister in the story about lesbians or gender fluidity. People need to get a grip.
These books have a refreshing take on the LitRpg genre and I for one cannot wait for more to be written. There's so much more story to tell. Can't recommend listening to this enough

Page turner

Great, bouncing from plot twist to action again and again, narration was excellent. 5 stars.
