Useful info but had to force myself to finish this
I did get a lot out of this book, it contains useful tips and tricks to improve public speaking, but I had to force myself to finish it.
About halfway through I started to find the repetitive nature of the narrator's style quite annoying. For someone who prides himself on his engaging style, he could have done much better. The whole book is read like a news bulletin, which gets you hooked to begin with, but then it just gets on your nerves.
Overall there were a few too many basketball references and some of his suggestions on how to respond in certain situations made me cringe!
Even though I had to force myself to finish it, I still got a lot out of it and would recommend it to anyone wanting to improve their public speaking.

good starting point
It wasn't great, I felt the stories and examples came across a little contrived and it felt that there was a significant bit of name dropping. which made it a bit of a struggle to listen through, however there are good points nestled in with all the filler and it did get me thinking about preparing for public speaking in a slightly more structured way.
