"Pimsleur programs provide plenty of positive reinforcement that will keep learners on track, and we found that Pimsleur gave us more proficiency and confidence in speaking the new language than any of the other language programs we reviewed." (AudioFile Magazine)

Great way to learn Brazilian Portuguese!
This level three 1-5 course covers present, simple past and polite tenses in addition to various subject and object pronouns and a few prepositions. Lessons cover how to introduce yourself, express like and dislikes, be polite, describe where objects are or were, make recommendations and a few other similar topics. While this may sound fairly basic, the language is practical and a large number of finer points of language are employed in the dialogues and practice sessions. Thus, there is plenty to learn here even for people with a reasonable functional command of the language.
