A bit old fashioned
For the most part I like the pace and structure of the lessons. The gaps for you to say the sentance in Italian can be a little fast for some of the more complicated sentences (especially where the word order changes quite a lot from English). I like the format of 30 minutes a day and I do feel that it's helping my Italian, when supplemented with other sources (like YouTube).
The main downside for me is that the scenarios are a bit old fashioned which I find quite offputting. The lesson I am up to at the moment is all about receiving a letter from a colleague (does anyone write letters to their colleagues telling then when they will arrive?!). Also, all of the conjugations are in the formal (Lei) form rather than informal. I am living in Italy at the moment and I am finding that the informal is used a lot more in day to day conversation than I'd anticipated. Overall good though and I just bought the next 5 lessons so will continue on.
