Specifically aimed at students with no background in philosophy, the program provides a clear introduction to the subject and its key thinkers and their views. Ultimately, this is a discussion of mind vs. matter and the nature of reality. Who isn't interested in pondering these questions for a few hours, guided by Powell's gentle voice?

Great book - very comprehensive

Excellent book - concise, accessible descriptions of an age old, complex debate. Would recommend to anyone interested in philosophy.
