Publisher's Summary

Wic and Phantom Team race against time in Phantom Deadfall, Christopher Hopper and J.N. Chaney’s next edition in the runaway hit Ruins of the Earth series. For fans of Galaxy's Edge, Expeditionary Force, and District 9—the fate of the world waits for you.

The gods have been angered. Hell will rain down.

After Wic and the Phantom’s successful operation on Karkin Four, the team learns of the enemy’s plans for a swift retaliation: an all-out assault on New York City.

Together, Wic must rally the team’s resources to plan an emergency counter-assault that will push the Phantoms to their limits. With help from unexpected places, mission success seems all but assured.

But when a new terrifying technology emerges, Wic must face the most challenging choice of all: sacrifice his teammates for the fate of Earth.

Allegiances will be tested, friendships will fray, and the planet will march toward the greatest darkness it has ever encountered.

Since when is "25:38" a time? (Hint: 23:58)

This dyslexia mistake at the start of Chapter 26 followed the false notion of "nautical kilometres" (it's just km), otherwise another entertaining novel, although again disturbing in several sections.

Go Phantoms!!!

R.C.Bray is a fantastic storyteller. I felt that I was there with the characters and was involved in the action.
I had to listen until the last chapter. Thoroughly enjoyable.

What a blast!

Lived every moment, loved it all and held my breath through this one, what a ride. R C Bray is my audio book husband, whose voice lulls me through the early hours, when I should be sleeping, and distracts me when I should be working. Hopper and Chaney, what a duo! Cheers

Brilliant

Love the characters and the humour, Wick is such a good complex person and I love Chuck. The action is exciting and although there is fair bit of gun description I have no idea about, it doesn't take away from the enjoyment of the book. Looking forward to the next one.

Every time Chuck speaks just sounds like Skippy

Exactly the same story as expeditionary force just not as funny but still it’s not a bad book

Not even R C Bray could save this for me.

I loved the first book of this serious. I thought the second was mediocre but because the first was so good and the reviews of the third had received, I purchased it. R C. Bray was true to form but I just couldn’t get into it. After chapter 5, without any movement in the plot, the hero’s ongoing saccharine soliloquy’s to pad out the lack of plot, the tiresome and no longer humorous repartee from “Chuck”, I gave it up and wished I had left it at the first book.
