A wonderful love story

Persuasion , I believe, is Jane Austen’s best book. Such a beautifully written tale. I just loved it. However I found the voice of this narrator unsuited. It was hard to know who was speaking as her tone hardly changed. Having said that she was clear and easy to understand

Very Worthwhile; Austen at her best?

Struggled on my first attempt but managed on the second and ended up loving it. May be Austen's best? Well read but with a strangely American-like accent.
