great push & pull - evasion a+
Audio Book, the Audio is suspenseful & very engaging with Christa Lewis voice acting.
Crafted to appeal to your sense of adventure and love of slow burn relationships.
Shea - Great FMC with skill & deftness, makes great tactical decisions is so duty first, I like Shea is tall bold & capable - is frankly so believeable on the page you want to be her .
Fallon warlord - is difficult to say the least, all Whisky eyed, Granite faced & gravelly voiced.

Gripping and entertaining
A well written story that keeps the reader or listener engaged. The story has elements of everything a good series needs to expand as it goes on really enjoyed it look forward to the following books.

Great series
I love the world building in this series and the characters are interesting and complex. I've read the series several times but wanted the audio version too. The narration isn't perfect but it's fine once I got used to some quirks of narrator's style. I'd listen to it again.
Recommend to fans of great world building with a dash of epic romance between MCs

Exciting new world
This book felt like it was set in history but with a mix of magical monsters.
I loved the cat and mouse game the two main characters had. Not sure how I felt about them at the end of the book but guessing the story will continue.
You could choose to just read the first book as a stand-alone but I’d like to see more of this world and the female main character.

Fun but predictable
A rollicking yarn and some explicit loving make this an easy read. Key characters’ superiority makes their attraction inevitable. Dominance of masculine figures a little problematic.
