The ending was disappointing
Enjoyed this DS Walker book but thought it wrapped up too quickly. All loose ends tied. I thought the story was developing nicely but thought the ending would be more suspenseful

Highly Recommend - Great Aussie Crime Writer!
I love finding novels based in the area I am visiting. I read this in a day while holidaying in Queensland. I loved Outback and was worried that Paradise wouldn't live up to they hype. It was epic! Patricia is a great writer. I really like DS Lucas Walker. Four stars as I couldn't find another character who I connected with. It was lovely to have Barbara back and maybe Gabny could return in a third book? Still gripping and great holiday read.

Fast paced.
I enjoyed the story. A little predictable but that was probably the author's intent.
The only thing that really turned me off was the constant use of
"yeah, nah". I'll be watching my speech from now on.
Kudos to the narrator who did a great job.

Well put together
Another good story featuring Lucas Walker. Storyline plausible and it is worth listening to. You feel real empathy for little Gabby. Look forward to the next installment.
