Publisher's Summary
Nina
Charming, captivating, seductive—and a cold-blooded killer. I married the Pakhan of the Russian Bratva anyway. I had to, it was part of the deal.
Now, I’m faking marital bliss as I tremble with fear, and I cannot wait to be out of the clutches of this ruthless man.
Roman
I get anything I desire, and I want this perfectly imperfect little manipulator. The way she can deceive anyone into believing she’s crazy in love with me just makes me want her even more.
She doesn't know it yet, but I am not letting her go.
The deal is off.

Loved this
Loved this. An easy listen and I was engaged the whole time. Not super smutty but I enjoyed the marriage of convenience trope

Broken heroes
I loved this book for the fact that the leads were imperfect, either damaged physically or emotionally and needed the other to help them heal. it made it so much more real for me. The narration was excellent and I adored the performances throughout!

Dark Mafia Romance
Russian mafia, blackmail bride, sounds cliche but I really loved this story, characters were very likable, audiobook narration was very good. Pleasantly surprised.

Painted prediction
The story line is predictable, though written well enough with strong character foundations to keep you engaged for a easy to listen book.

Narration with Russian accents - loved it
Looking at the synopsis for this book, I was curious how it would all come together. This is my first mafia book where the MMC has any perceived weakness (other than his love for the FMC) and it was well incorporated into the storyline.
The FMC was strong and no nonsense and when she gets into character, just a delight to read. The banter was so on point as well.
Of course, the ‘my wife’ trope was front and centre, and in particular, the words ‘Put your hands on my wife…and you’re losing them’ was a treat.
Overall, an enjoyable read. I gave this 3.5 stars. It was particularly spicy, but it didn’t detract from the story at all. What spice there was seemed appropriate.
I read on Kindle and listened on Audible. Russian accents were enjoyable to hear.
