Für Laien ist das Angebot meist nur schwer zu durchschauen.

Bringt einen der analytisch orientierte Ansatz weiter oder eine systemisch-integrative Therapie? Wäre vielleicht ein Sexualtherapeut gut? Sollte man besser einem Therapeuten-Paar gegenüber sitzen oder genügt eine einzelne Person? Viele beschäftigt auch die Frage, was man tun kann, wenn der Partner eine Paartherapie ablehnt. Und dann gibt es noch die Angst, dass sich die Konflikte in der Therapie verschärfen - und statt eines Happyends die Trennung droht.
