About this listen

Do you want boost your life by converting the negative effect of overthinking into positive energy?

The tendency to overthink a situation can lead to very serious consequences.

Many times, it gets difficult for us to process the reality of what’s happening around us. During that time, we tend to calculate the outcomes of our actions or of the processes occurring around us. Overthinking, as is evident by the name, means thinking too much about the simplest of situations. It leads to a repeated pattern that encourages the person to just stress about problems instead of acting on it. Overthinking spews the exact same thoughts over and over until it completely fills your mind, rendering you incapable of figuring out a way to deal with your situation.

Some people reckon reasonably, and deal with various situations productively. But for some people, this proves to be a gigantic task. They face the blank canvas of "overthinking". In truth, overthinking makes simple situations worse. It makes people assess whatever is happening around them and jump to the worst of conclusions. Overthinking drains a large portion of your energy, makes you physically and mentally incapable of making productive decisions, and entraps you within a repeating circle of having the same thought processes over and over again.

Here are a few things that happen if you overthink:

  • When something bad happens, you think of the worst scenarios and discard all your chances of dealing with the situation.
  • You develop an unhealthy thinking pattern.
  • You overanalyze and think about your day-to-day interactions with people again and again.
  • You read too much into things, which may lead to developing incorrect conclusions.

If you can recognize a pattern that makes you obsessively overanalyze things and jump to the worst of conclusions, then chances are that you overthink a lot. It is a demon that can keep you up at night and render you incapable of carrying out your day-to-day tasks efficiently. It can also harm your social life and cease your interactive development within society. It is a grave and a serious issue that must be dealt with immediately. But not enough people are aware of the dangers brought about by this thinking pattern. When you overthink each and every situation, you cannot differentiate between serious issues that need to be acknowledged immediately and small things that mostly everyone else would overlook. It puts a stain on your ability to think efficiently.

The goal of the book is simple: to spread awareness about the importance of dealing with overthinking patterns.

You will also learn:

  • Causes of overthinking
  • What negative thoughts can do to your brain
  • Strategies to reduce stress and anxiety
  • How to stop overthinking
  • Ways to convert your worrying, anxiety, and negative emotions into positive energy
