Thoroughly enjoyed
Well paced, main character was likeable and you wanted to hear her story. Really enjoyed this book and although and hard topic would definitely recommend.

Chilling and disturbing
While it’s fiction it’s a rather too true story of Domestic Violence (could be triggering for victims of DV) and the evils some men are capable of in their use of naive women. Well written and narrated.

Gripping and felt very real
Much more than just suspense for the sake of it, this felt like a very real dive into coercive intimate partner violence. The flaws of the narrator makes it all the more understandable how you can become trapped and how hard it is for others to understand. Brilliant.
