The local police, who couldn't investigate their own nostrils, think I drank myself into an early grave. The nerve! I was murdered. I was just too plastered to know whodunnit, that's all.

Maz Evans, you're a literary genius! This book was like a tornado of brilliance—I devoured it like a bookworm at a reading feast and still wanted seconds! Miriam and Winnie were just pure gold! I upped the ante by pairing the read with the audiobook, where Evans herself spun her enchanting words. After closing the book, I was left with a massive book hangover from all the fun! Now, I'm here, tapping my foot and twiddling my thumbs, eagerly anticipating your next magical masterpiece!

One of the best books I’ve listened to - loved now Maz narrated and captured the tone of all her characters so well and made the murder mystery plot so logical where the ending made sense! An amazing listen. 10/10 recommend. The witty humour was so good
