About this listen
A compilation of funny, irreverently reverent stories on aligning with the Divine in daily life. For the passionately spiritual and bemusedly skeptical alike.
Adapted from a popular column originally published as "San Francisco's Spiritual Examiner" at examiner.com.
"What if God IS the story? What if the Divine is constantly igniting roadside flares to get our attention? What if there actually IS a Supreme Organizing Principle with a ribald and unbridled sense of humor? And what if we each have this ardent inner suitor who's writing us love letters every day that often go unopened?"
What if indeed? Read on.
Author Bio: Tosha Silver grew up thinking one day she would be a rabbi, a lawyer or a weathergirl. But fate had other ideas. She graduated from Yale with a degree in English Literature but along the way fell madly in love with metaphysics and yogic philosophy. For the last 30 years she has taught many ways to align with the inner Divine. She lives near San Francisco and also writes a spiritual column at examiner.com. More information at www.toshasilver.com

understanding universe
Her calming voice makes a very relaxed reading. For me that I am searching for growing spirituality. It has been very helpful in understanding the power of acceptance in letting things go.

A portrait of faith.
Tosha's authentic relaxed congruence shines in this reading of her journey with faith and acceptance. She demonstrates a comprehensive witness to the wonders of choosing to let go and trust, and gently invites the reader to do the same. Very edifying.

Loved this book
Absolutely adored this book. An inspirational breath of fresh air. Highly recommend to anyone to whom the egoic culture of pushing greed for material things out into the universe and calling it "manifesting" doesn't sit quite right.

This book resonated with me
Would you listen to Outrageous Openness again? Why?
First of all Tosha's voice is very calming and soothing. I enjoyed her outlook and perspective on events in her life and the lives of people she worked with. She made me feel as though miracles can and do happen.
Any additional comments?
I would definitely recommend this book and would also love to read any other books by Tosher.

Life altering
From all the other reviews I had a feeling this book may just be life altering, well I wasn’t disappointed! Brought the hard copy also just so I could highlight and mark all the little gems and have at my fingertips. After listening to the entire book I had a sense of optimism and utter peace. Peace in knowing it’s ok to let go, and just trust. I truly hope this book touches you too, may it bring you the calm warm huge I felt, and may it bring you peace in your soul x

Life changing
Tosha’s humility, calmness and peaceful being really shines through so naturally, as she walks us through her experiences and teachings. Other authors have copied her style however she is the original and best. She self narrates and her voice is calming and inspiring.
