In the year of our Lord 1894, I became an outlaw.

A Lotta Layers,
This book was a step outside my usual comfort zone but it’s a fabulous book to discuss!
There’s no clear avenue this story takes which is part of what makes it so interesting. Everything that happens adds another layer to the story and each little complexity evolves into something else, the way it would in life.
A worthwhile and intriguing read, something I’m glad to have read now in retrospect.

Interesting listen
This was an entertaining story with a great premise. I really enjoyed listening and didn't want to stop, however, I did feel like the story lacked something that I can't put my finger on. I felt like much of the story was beige. The narrator didn't have many differing voices for character so if I wasn't paying close attention I wasn't sure who was speaking, but maybe that was more my fault.
Over all, enjoyable but I don't know if I would listen to it again.

A western tale of a modern pandemic
This book was marvellous and not far removed from what we have experienced in 2019-2021 (at time of writing) although in a western setting.
It was an immersive book that was easy to listen to on the commute to work via foot. The books takes you into its story, whilst thinking about our own modern potentially dystopian future.

Not great narration
I would not buy a book with this same narrator - not enough variation between characters, everyone sounds like a man.
