Publisher's Summary
Determined never to trust a man again, Callie Young walks out of her job as a presenter on the weather channel, determined to take the first job that will get her out of the city and away from the TikTok video, #WRONGFORECAST, that has amused the world. Meeting her new employer, the cranky and bossy owner of Kilcoy Station, reinforces her belief that no man can be trusted—but, to her dismay, that doesn't stop her developing an attraction to him! Braden is unimpressed with the glamorous woman the employment agency sends in response to his desperate ad for a nanny. She's never been out of the city, barely knows the difference between a bull and a milking cow, and drives a luxury car. But she makes him feel things he'd thought were gone for good. Will he protect his heart—or allow himself to fall for her?

Irritating
Although the story was quite good it was ruined by the irritating, almost child like voice of the narrator. With each and every word precisely spoken almost like a full stop after each word, it distracted from the storyline.

Nice Australian love story
I liked the Narrator and enjoyed the story line I wanted to listen to the story every spare second I had. A nice love story set within regional Australia. This book got me hooked to read the whole series.

Irritating narrator!
The story was good, though developed a lot quicker than expected so didn’t delve very deeply, but the narrator was so irritating with how she spoke the words so stilted! Very hard to focus on the story and not be continually focused on her narration! I’ve endured her narration before and try hard to avoid it as it’s so irritating! I had it on speed 1.3 which helped a little!

B/B
Great little story but like others have mentioned the narration was like a teacher pronouncing each word so precisely it took the feelings/emotions out of the storyline… a more Australian voice would have suited it better. 🚐

The annoyingly slow narration and over articulation of words. People don’t talk like that.
Very short book not worth the purchase. I do like this author but I won’t be buying another short story.
