Gripping
Great story where once again our unforgiving landscape plays a major role. I was in desperate need to fast forward for about the last dozen chapters as the suspense was intense! I am pleased I managed to stay the course. Very well narrated which created a visual story and added to the building tension.

Seat of your pants thriller
Raced through this one desperate to find out how it would end. Narration excellent too. Now to find more by Patricia Wolf!

An easy listen
I quite enjoyed this & although not a new concept, was still well written. The narration of the German accent wasn’t great but you get used to it.

Great story, terrible accents
Great story that keeps you on edge but the attempt of a German accent by the narrator is just horrendous

Could not put this down!
Loved this Aussie crime story really captures the Australian outback. I listened to it in one go, it really had me captured. I’ve preordered the next one… can’t wait!

Good story lines
I always enjoy stories about the outback. The settings were very realistic and true to the location The suspense and dramas going on between multiple characters in this story kept me totally engrossed to the very end.

A good Australian Bush Mystery
I really enjoyed the uncovering of nefarious crimes taking place in a supposedly quiet corner of the Queensland bush. Nothing is necessarily as it seems - the range of fascinating characters living in the community all beg you to ask questions of their lives.... A good mystery to be solved at some cost to the AFP detective!
