Wow! What a trilogy!

This has been a brilliant story, DCI Jamie Carver bk1-3, extreme evil and extreme love and emotion. Obviously the author ✍️ has a bit of a thing about priests and the “church” which I find fascinating.
The only real problem I had was the narrator’s annoying habit of leaving no break before announcing the next chapter like it’s just another line in the story. It completely works against the hanging words of the chapter just finished. You don’t get a chance to take a breathe and take it in. Very frustrating!
