Otto går i børnehave. Det er han ikke den eneste, der gør. I Ottos børnehave er der også både Adam, Milas, Sebastian og Ahmed. Det er alle de seje drenge. Og så er der Ronja. Hende kan Otto godt lide, men det siger han ikke til nogen. Hun har alligevel også fire kærester. I bogen kan man høre om den dag, Otto fik en meget klam madpakke med i børnehaven, og om dengang alt slikket forsvandt fra hans fødselsdagskagemand, og om hvor sjovt det kan være at sige "prutteskid", når nu det er temmelig forbudt at bande.
