Couldn't finish

Free addition to my listening library, but I just couldn't finish listening. The narration made the story seem laborious and stilted and I couldn't stand it any longer. Do Authors listen to the entire narration?, I'd be surprised if they do, otherwise, I'm sure they would make more suitable choices.
