Awful female narrator
The book: sorry, but I only made it to chapter 8, then could not listen to her anymore. So far though... instant attraction and the hero is already smitten, but I did not like him. She said No, so back off!, not push her harder. I expect that it will be drama and misunderstandings from here on out. That is what it appears to be leading to, but as I did not finish it, I am only guessing.
My biggest problem was the female narrator. She rolls her R, N and sometimes her L at the end of words - but not always. Which leads me to think it is a really, REALLY aggravating affection (also, she does not do it in her male voice). If the sample niggles at you even a tiny bit, do not buy the audio version! By the eighth chapter you will hate her as much as I do.
The male narrator was great. I will probably look up some of his other works.
