Disappointing story and lacklustre narration
After so many great reviews I had high hopes for the book but was sadly disappointed. The female narrator has a very annoying tone that made the characters sound very young and want in line with the characters the author was trying to portray. The male narrator used a higher pitch voice for every male character which was very strange. The story itself was relatively predictable and the main character was annoyingly ignorant for much of the early half of the story.

The story line.
I thoroughly enjoyed how the wonderful story continued to build without dragging on. The ending was well timed and wrapped up brilliantly.

Narration lets it down but good storyline
The storyline is really good, not too complicated to follow like some other well known books in the same genre. But the narration really took away from it. I felt like I was listening to some high school kids semi robotically read lines together rather than the usual convincing narrations of other audio books. The narration made the story sound less interesting than it actually was. It got to the point where I wasn’t sure if I could enjoy it but I’m glad I stuck with it because it’s a sweet story. In hindsight, I wish I read the actual book over the audiobook

From start to finish this author holds suspense. The narrators are wonderful. This Wolf Shifter book will not disappoint

Amazing story
I really enjoyed this book by Julie Trettel . The narration was awesome. I am looking forward to listening to the next book. I highly recommend this Author and book.

Certainly Enjoyed!
This book was a great book to listen too. I loved that this book had a little more then just a typical romance. I wasn't a huge fan of the narrators but it certainly doesn't ruin the book.

Good read!
Loved the story overall and the gradual buildup of Kyle and Amelia’s love story, although sometimes a little tedious. Great to see the depth of emotion from the male lead rather than the usual in the wolf stories.

Great start of an amazing serie!
I love this author's books. All characters are likeable and smart. The story-line is so well build up, the author wrote different series of the same world. I love the ARC books the most, but it's best to start with this book to get hooked into the Westin, Collier, ARC... - world. Enjoy it!
Narrators were ok.
(Btw to the other reviewer who called the main female character dumb, if you would have listened on, you might understand her reasoning. Our Kelsey is anything but dumb. I hope you give it another go and listen to the ending? 😉)
