Publisher's Summary

In ancient times, two men from the children of Israel struck a simple yet profound agreement. One man needed a loan of one thousand gold coins, and the other, trusting in Allah, lent him the money without witnesses or sureties. The borrower, in turn, set off on a journey across the sea. When it came time to repay the loan, he faced an unexpected obstacle: no ship was available to take him back. In desperation, he placed the gold coins in a sealed piece of wood, praying to Allah for its safe delivery. Miraculously, the lender later found the wood washed ashore, containing the repayment and a letter. When the borrower finally returned, ready to repay, the lender told him that Allah had already delivered the debt, proving that faith and trust in the divine can overcome even the most impossible odds.

This story is authentic, told to us by the most noble of the messengers, Prophet Muhammad (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and was collected by Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) in his Sahih.
