The story was good overall, what you would expect in a crime story but after reading this, the 3rd of 3 in the series so far I have to say that I don't like Claire. The authors attempt to make her a "strong independent modern married working mother" actually(in my opinion) makes her unlikeable. Her marriage is irrelevant, her child an apparently loved inconveance and her job is number 1. Not enough work is done in the storyline on Claire's attempts at harmony on the home front to make her a likeable and decent person. Maybe she's not meant to be? It's hard to keep following a series where I just don't like the main character.
