I don't usually write reviews, but this book compelled me to. The author courageously shares intimate and shocking details of her formative years with honesty and depth. Her resilience, courage, and resourcefulness are both powerful and deeply moving. I highly recommend On Angels' Wings—it's an unforgettable listen.

I'm absolutely inspired by Gloria's resilience and strength to survive this and go on to help others as she does.
This is not an easy read by any stretch and at times I was left gasping and sobbing for this child as well as so many others I wish I could help.
The author's personal recount of her life experiences bring to light the very real presence of an underbelly that is irrespective of any demographic boundaries, existing historically and to this very day.
Evil lurks among us and is hiding in plain sight.
